DESIGNING YOUR GARAGE (or building)
Before choosing your garage take time to consider what you want the garage for, is it just for parking your vehicle or will it be used for storage, a home gym or a workshop as well?
Step 1 – Style
Do you want a flat or apex roof?
Flat roof garages – the roof gently slopes from back to front whereas the apex roof garages have a pitched roof at 12.5 degrees. Have you got room for an apex and there is a slight overhang to the roof, or would a flat roof be more suitable?
Step 2 – Size
Do you want a single or double garage?
Consider the size of your vehicle, length and width, but also the wing mirrors and the opening of the door to get in and out of the vehicle. Do you need extra width or length for storage, or perhaps a higher garage is required?
Step 3 – Finish
How do you want the finished garage to look?
Do you want a plain garage or pebble dash spar finish? Would a brick effect be more suitable? Or perhaps you would like your garage to match your property? We are the only company that offers this bespoke service. Do you wan tbrick front posts? Consider what would look right and what would compliment your house and surrounding areas.
Step 4 – Optional Extras
Do you want to personalise the garage with a few optional extras?
Perhaps you want a particular colour roof, door design, specific fascias, guttering, opening windows or perhaps an electric opening door.
